What's all over the newspapers now is the conflict between Palestine and Israel. The issue here is that Palestine has been bombing israel and Israel has been responding by bombing back. Is israel justified in their attacks. The inequality of the bombings has been described as killing an ant with a sledgehammer. Another issue is that Israel's bombing have killed tons of Palestinian civilians.
I dont want to discuss the matter too much, because quite simply I dont know enough to fairly judge Israel's actions. However, I find it difficult for Israel to take the moral "high-road". If Israel is killling innocent civilians, that is a major problem, especially since Israel has U.S. support, generally speaking. My only hope is that the US stays as far away from this issue as they can. Unless, of course, the U.S. can convince Israel to stop bombing Palestine.
