Back to classic DLBinSPG
For the first time in a long time, I really want to fix my website. Outside of this blog, I've got a load to do to my site. Although I've got to say, some of the poems that I thought were great at the time, they're outright terrible. I don't even want my name associated with them. Not that I'm embarrassed or anything, but it seems like such a waste of webspace (and viewers time) to have lackluster poetry. The gaming section, also known as the WBCwing, is coming along nicely in the back ground. The only problem is I need someone who is artistically minded to design it for/with me. I have enough content surely, but I dont know how to apply the content in a way that looks neat. then there's the PKMN section which is probably dead. But I'll have another entry for that.

So is Obama three-fifths of a president?
The best conversation of the day about the inauguration.
Child: I know, he said it already.
Todays a huge day, as of 12PM Barack Obama is the president of the US.

Are you Living, or are you existing?
After hearing that line in "The family that preys", I started thinking. Which of the above am I doing? I think considering the shape of this blog, the answer is obvious.
Exist (v.)- To live at a minimal level
Live (v.)- To pursue a positive, satisfying existence; enjoy life
(both from Answers.com)
I want to live. Simply put, I'm tired of the situation I'm in. I need more passion in my life. I've spent too much time being droll, boring, and living a life of unfufilled waiting. I had opportunities slip past because of stupid reasons. I've managed to rationalize myself into the ground.
It's time to make my blog personal again. Start being the guy who I keep saying I am, or at least the one who I'm trying to be. I need to do something every day that is productive. Certainly, every day cant be an adventure, but why cant my days be interesting. Why can't I embrace all that life has to offer?

Politics for the New Year
What's all over the newspapers now is the conflict between Palestine and Israel. The issue here is that Palestine has been bombing israel and Israel has been responding by bombing back. Is israel justified in their attacks. The inequality of the bombings has been described as killing an ant with a sledgehammer. Another issue is that Israel's bombing have killed tons of Palestinian civilians.
I dont want to discuss the matter too much, because quite simply I dont know enough to fairly judge Israel's actions. However, I find it difficult for Israel to take the moral "high-road". If Israel is killling innocent civilians, that is a major problem, especially since Israel has U.S. support, generally speaking. My only hope is that the US stays as far away from this issue as they can. Unless, of course, the U.S. can convince Israel to stop bombing Palestine.

I'm A cowboys fan.
I deserve to lose my fantasy playoffs.
League 1: (1st Overall out of 10)
I started Derrick Ward over Tashard Choice, because Jacobs is out, so i figured barber and choice would cancel each other out.
Ward: 4 fantasy points
Choice: 20
League 2: (2nd Overall out of 10)
Tashard Choice's TD caused me to lose, because I have the Giants Defense....
Rule #1: Never pick against the team you love.

President-Elect Obama
Senator Obama of Illinois is now (unofficially) the president-elect of the United States of America. This is a big day for Americans of all creeds, ages, races and political affiliation. Now is the time to stand behind the new president and hope he delivers on his message of positive change. The next four years are going to be incredibly important. I make no secret of my liberal leanings. But I think that Obama is a president that many Americans can stand behind. I just never would have thought a year ago that Obama could win.

5 years
My immediate plans hit a snag recently. My phone isn't working, at all. Now I have to go through Sprint insurance to get it fixed.
A big part of my 5 year plan will be dependent on the person who's in charge of the US for the next four years. Either McCain or Obama will be leading the country. I personally hope that it will be Obama, but I wonder what the next 4 years will be like if McCain is in charge. This is of course assuming that he doesn't leave office. Imagine if, despite being currently down in the polls, McCain wins the election and goes on to lead the country into prosperity.
I'd love to here some thoughts about what you think the next 4 years will be like with Obama or McCain as president.
