Just another week

Bye: Baltimore, Denver, Detroit, Jax, Seattle, Tenn
Sunday, October 25
Chicago at Cincinnati, 1

I predict that there will be a sorely missed Odom in Cincinatti. This game just feels like a shootout. I’m going to regret starting the Bears D in fantasy, but oh well. Bears win a close one

Green Bay at Cleveland, 1

Will Anderson have more completions or INTs? I’m really running out of ways to clown the Cleveland Offense. But the defense in Cleveland is just as awful. The pass D is 32nd in the League. Awful. Think Rodgers doesn’t light them up? Yeah, right.

Indianapolis at St. Louis, 1

This matchup is just as bad. Indy +50?  The Rams are 32nd in points scored and 30th in points allowed

Minnesota at Pittsburgh, 1

Pitt is at home. Polamalu is coming back. The Vikings aren’t a great pass D, and Big Ben has thrown for a ton of pass yards every week.

New England at Tampa Bay, 1 (London)
In London, in Tampa, in New England, In Somalia, In Iraq, on the Moon, on Mars. The Pats would beat the awful Tampa team. There are no stars on this squad. At all.

San Diego at Kansas City, 1
KC gets a win, but this isn’t a game I’m confident about. LT hasn’t been good, nor has Sproles, I think Cassel can get some yardage on the Chargers D.

San Francisco at Houston, 1

the 49ers haven’t earned my confidence I think the Texans can do it.

Buffalo at Carolina, 4:05
Carolina @ home.

New York Jets at Oakland, 4:05
Reverse Jynx of the week right here. Oakland

Atlanta at Dallas, 4:15

Dallas proves that they aren’t as bad as people make them out to be. Dallas wins a close one. both teams will score 20+. Dear Dallas. Please run.

New Orleans at Miami,

Hmm. I want to pick Miami, but the Saints have to show me a reason why I shouldn’t pick them. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Dolphins won, but you can’t go against an undefeated without a good reason.

Arizona at New York Giants,

The cards are terrible on the east coast. My NYG pick could also be seen as a reverse jynx, but certain stats are just undeniable.

Monday, October 26
Philadelphia at Washington, 8:30

Philly wins. Washington is terrible. Awful. Lacking in hope.

They are who we think they are, maybe

WEEK 6

Bye: Dallas, Indianapolis, Miami, San Francisco

Dallas need to retool. they have injuries at the RB position (Barber, Jones) an injured WR (Williams), and they've played uninspiring football. Luckily they have an extremely soft schedule. Indy has been playing great with the elder Manning showing no signs of slowing down. Miami looked bad at the beginning of the year, but following 2 wins, including a divisional game against the reeling jets, they're back in place to win. The 49ers needed a week off more than anyone (except the Browns who may need to take the rest of the year off) after being bludgeoned at home by the Falcons. Crabtree also needs time for a possible debut. Gore and Coffee are both injured, so they'll need the week off

Sunday, October 18
Baltimore at Minnesota, 1

Can Baltimore get a break? They have an impossible schedule. and Cinci ran all over them. With Cedric Benson. Think All day shellacs them this week? Clearly.

Carolina at Tampa Bay, 1

I refuse to believe in Tampa. Period. For any reason.

Cleveland at Pittsburgh, 1
Pitt +21, and I'll take the over.

Detroit at Green Bay, 1

Detroit is a pesky team, they could sneak one in. But Green Bay won't lose in Lambeau again? Right?

Houston at Cincinnati, 1

The one everyone screams will be an upset. I disagree, give me ocho cinco

Kansas City at Washington, 1
KC ends the streak.

New York Giants at New Orleans, 1
Battle for NFC supremacy. Saints at home always.

St. Louis at Jacksonville, 1
Jax> SjAX. The rams are beyond horrible. The jaguars hndle puny teams.

Arizona at Seattle, 4:05

@seattle (notice a trend)

Philadelphia at Oakland, 4:05
Philly.

Buffalo at New York Jets, 4:15
jets

Tennessee at New England, 4:15

Pats

Chicago at Atlanta, 8:20
Dome team at home. BTW, its a shootout

Monday, October 19
Denver at San Diego, 8:30

I want to pick San Diego, but why should I. The Broncos are legit.

Separation Sunday

WEEK 4

Bye: Arizona, Atlanta, Carolina, Philadelphia

And boy do all these teams need a bye. All of them are playing below expectations, Philly had a major injury at the QB position, McNabb gets an extra week to recover. But at least Kevin Kolb has been solid throwing for 300+ yds.

Baltimore at New England, 1 tickets

I know how good the Ravens are, I know that they are a run first team with solid passing, I know that the defense is still very good. But who are the Patriots, and how are they going to win? Are they the  secretly  the 2007 Pats with a quietly lurking Tom Brady waiting for a big game? Doubt it, give me the Ravens

Cincinnati at Cleveland, 1 tickets
One of these teams is the Browns, I’m going with the other team. And I’m on the Bengals bandwagon

Detroit at Chicago, 1 tickets

Chicago at home is almost a no-brainer, even against the suddenly rejuvenated Lions.

New York Giants at Kansas City, 1 tickets

Gotta go with the G-Men, the only thing I worry about is them falling asleep at the wheel considering their easy schedule.

Oakland at Houston, 1 tickets

H-Town can’t lose them all. Walter figures to have a good game. The Raiders are bad. Nnamdi isn’t even Nnamdi anymore. I think its too much practicing against JaMarcus Russell, he’s forgotten what a real QB throws like

Seattle at Indianapolis, 1 tickets

Hasslebeck is hurt. Manning is healthy and at home

Tampa Bay at Washington, 1 tickets

Ugh. These two teams are terrible. The Redskins have got to be one of the 5 worst teams this year. But the Bucs are top (bottom) 2.

Tennessee at Jacksonville, 1 tickets
The Titans can’t lose all of their games, but this is a measuring stick game for the Jax. I’ll go with the titans

Buffalo at Miami, 4:05 tickets

The Bills are better than I thought  they’d be. Miami is worse than I could have imagined. But the Dolphins are due for a win, just another week.

New York Jets at New Orleans, 4:05 tickets

The immovable object meets the unstoppable force. The Saints are home, and I picked against the Saints in the Dome before, didn’t go well

.
Dallas at Denver, 4:15 tickets
Gotta go with the Cowboys right, but with minimal confidence

St. Louis at San Francisco, 4:15 tickets
The 49ers are even better than I thought they’d be

San Diego at Pittsburgh, 8:20 tickets

Pitt at home. The Chargers are something like 0-13 against the Steelers at home

Green Bay at Minnesota, 8:20 tickets

Favre gets his payback and a win against every team. The Packers aren’t that good, and the Vikings are.
